How much can I detach well-known movies from their original form and translate them into new shapes?

Detached existence is a digital poster collection of six of my favorite movies. They're built on my emotions, memories, and perceptions of their content. By forcing the mind to limit itself to only shapes and colors, I created new interpretations that may lead to new perspectives on how we view these movies.

The typography is added to convey minimalistic poster aesthetics. However, I wonder if the films were recognizable without any text. Would it become too abstract for the viewer?
